What happens at Pre-school and Nursery

During a term, over a minimum of six weekly sessions, a magical process happens through a mixture of play, exploration and learning.

The sessions can be from an hour to a full day each week. We are also flexible with our time, for example, we can run fornightly sessions to suit the timetable of the pre-school or nursery.

Sessions will take place in all seasons unless there are extreme weather conditions. Whatever the weather, learners have fun. It is important to wear comfortable clothing, shoes or trainers that can get dirty. Waterproof jackets, all-in-ones or trousers are also a great idea. On those warmer days, suncream and hats. And those colder days, warm gloves, woolly hats and scarves.



At our Forest Tribe:

We do not eat anything we find.

We must stay within the boundary markers when at our special site.

No walking through the fire circle.

No such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.
